It's Okay to Have Two Homes and Mixed Feelings

It's Okay to Have Two Homes and Mixed Feelings

Maybe you now live in two places. Or you live with one parent and visit the other. Or you just feel torn.

Here is something no one may have told you: you are allowed to feel more than one thing at once.

You can love both your parents and be angry at both. You can miss a parent and feel relieved when the fighting stops. You can feel happy at one home and guilty about it. None of this makes you ungrateful or confused. It makes you human.

You do not have to pick a side. You do not have to pretend you're fine. And you do not have to explain your feelings perfectly before you're allowed to have them.

If you can, tell someone you trust how you really feel. And remember, loving both sides of your family is never a betrayal. 💛
